Clergy Covenant Day 2026

Theme:  Renewed Daily - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18


Join us for a meaningful day set around the Wesleyan Covenant Prayer, a reminder of John Wesley’s rhythm of renewal and the daily practices that keep us centered: prayer, scripture, fellowship, and the Lord’s Supper.

Together, we’ll reflect on what it means to continually surrender to God’s grace and grow in faith, regardless of whether we face abundance or scarcity, success or failure, recognition or obscurity.

Our guest speaker, Dr. Stevenson-Moessner, will share her presentation, “The Sermon I Never Heard,” offering insight and reflection to spark conversation and strengthen our shared life in ministry.

Throughout the day, you can expect:

Time to connect and recharge with fellow clergy
Thoughtful teaching from our guest speaker
Breakout conversations to explore ideas in community
A shared meal
Morning and afternoon worship to anchor our time
We hope you’ll join us for a day of renewal, learning, and fellowship.

This year’s Covenant Day will be hosted from a central in-person hub at Grace Avenue UMC in the Metro North District. Clergy in all other districts are invited to gather at their designated district location, where the main sessions will be streamed live from the hub. Each district gathering will also include its own opportunities for fellowship, breakout conversations, and a shared meal.

District hub locations are still being finalized. You will receive an email with your district’s location as soon as all sites are confirmed.
